01/30/25: Velvet Caviar is recalling its MagSafe Battery Pack for the safety of its consumers. Certain Velvet Caviar Battery Packs can overheat, posing a fire hazard.
If you have a qualifying MagSafe Battery Pack, we urge you to immediately stop using it, follow the steps below to arrange a replacement at no additional cost, and dispose of your current MagSafe battery pack in accordance with local regulations for lithium-ion battery disposal.

I qualify, what's next?
1) Stop Using the Battery Pack
- Immediately stop using the MagSafe Battery Pack to avoid any safety risks.
2) Claim Your Complimentary Replacement
Follow this link to participate in the recall. You’ll need to provide:
- Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or order number - if available)
- Photo of your battery pack's underside showing the item's PO number
- Photo of your battery pack with "RECALLED" written in permanent marker over the front side
Once we've received and confirmed this information, we will ship you a new, replacement MagSafe Battery Pack in "black" within 4 weeks. Black is the only color available for this recall program.
3)Â Dispose of the Battery Pack
Once you’ve lodged your claim above, please dispose of your current battery pack in accordance with your local regulations for lithium-ion batteries. Improper disposal can lead to environmental hazards or safety risks.
Do not throw the recalled batteries in the trash. Do not deposit the recalled batteries in used battery recycling boxes found at various retail and home improvement stores. Recalled lithium-ion batteries should be disposed of in accordance with any local and state ordinances, following the procedures established by your municipal recycling centre for damaged/defective/recalled lithium-ion batteries, because these potentially hazardous batteries must be handled differently than other batteries.
Terms of Recall
When you submit your replacement claim, you are agreeing to the terms of the recall and confirming that you qualify for your replacement, including compliance with the following statements: I am a consumer who obtained the Velvet Caviar MagSafe Battery Pack for personal or household use prior to Thursday, January 30th 2025 and I am currently in possession of the MagSafe Battery Pack that I will be registering if qualified. If I qualify, I will dispose of the battery pack in accordance with local and state ordinances. I understand that if I submit a claim for an item that is not a genuine and eligible Velvet Caviar MagSafe battery pack, or if I submit a claim for a battery pack that has previously been registered, or am determined, in Velvet Caviar’s sole discretion not to meet the above criteria, I will not receive a replacement.

A: Replacements are typically approved and shipped out within 2 weeks after the customer has submitted their recall form. However, due to higher-than-usual submission volumes, we may experience delays, and delivery could take up to 30 days.
Q: Are you recalling other products?
A: No, this recall is only for the MagSafe Battery Pack. No other Velvet Caviar products are being recalled.
Q: I received my MagSafe Battery Pack as a gift. Should I also participate in the recall?
